The Magic Association (魔道協会 Madō Kyōkai, localized as Mage’s Guild[1]) was an organization dedicated to magic in BlazBlue world.

It is unknown since when the Magic Association have existed, but their origins can be traced back for at least a few centuries.
They do not belong to any country. The Association never operates in the eye of the public. Their network extends to regions across the globe, and due to its unique organization, they have their own form of government.
Their function and objectives are to advance and experiment in the arts of alchemy and magic. As a result, their greatest strength as an organization is their education system, which is how they send great magicians and alchemists alike into the world.
The headquarters of the Association are situated on the island of the magic capital, Magic City of Ishana. The leaders of the Magic Association are known as the Ten Sages, the best magicians, and while the ten seats have never been filled all at once, the Sages lead the Association in the direction they see fit.
After the events of the Great Dark War, the Magic Association became extremely weak and eventually fused with the Void Information Administration Bureau to become the Void Information Management Agency. Along with this fusion, some of the Ten Sages went on to become some of the first members of the Twelve Originators, with their descendants forming the houses. For example, the head of the Kisaragi family was Seven.
