Half-Beastman (半獣人 Hanjūjin) is a race of people of human and beastmen descent. They look like demi-humans, but live longer and appear to have more of animal behavior characteristics, just like beastmen. During the Great Dark War, Tomonori helped them find a home, for which they were infinitely loyal to him.
The only known half-beastman in the series is Kokonoe Mercury, daughter of Nine, a human, and Jūbei, a feline beastman.
Beastmen, half-beastmen and human sub-race generally appear to possess excellent physical and sensory capabilities compared to humans, as well as extremely long lifespans – but even these advantages cannot save them from being treated by other people as second-class citizens, and even discriminated against and hated.
