Alliance Mode

Alliance Mode (アライアンスモード, Araiansu Mōdo) is a single-player mode exclusive for the arcade version of BlazBlue: Centralfiction. In this mode, the player assembles a team of four characters, called an alliance, and fights against an alliance of AI.

Information

The Alliance Mode is divided into ten consecutively unlocked courses, with different difficulties. The player has to clear current course to unlock the next one. Each course consists of six team battles. The first team battle is always versus team “A”, which has the easiest difficulty, and battles from 2 to 6 have three teams, “A”, “B”, and “C”, with “C” being the hardest difficulty. The player can choose which of the three teams to fight from the special list, but the course will count as cleared only if the player defeated all of the teams on the course.

At the end of a round, the player can select a character to fight against their next enemy. The characters that are not participating in a battle restore a certain portion of their health. When all of the player’s characters’ health is reduced to zero, the player will get a Game Over. The Alliance Mode has no “Continue” option. After defeating the enemy alliance, the player can recruit defeated characters.

Parameters

Each character has seven parameters, which have different ranks, from “E-” to “SS”. Character’s parameters are affected by other members of the alliance.
