Eight (エイト, Eito) was one of the Ten Sages and a recurring character in the Phase Shift novels. She was commonly seen with Seven, although the two did not get along.

Appearance

Eight was a pale, slender young woman with shoulder-length turquoise hair and menacing ruby red eyes. She wore an elaborate rich purple dress that was cut down the center to her abdomen and her left thigh, the dress had no back and was rimmed with grey steel and even had long sleeves that reached her hands. Draped across her shoulders was white fur that connected just beneath her cleavage and she wore a golden, Egyptian-style necklace which was adorned with red and purple jewels. Her look was topped off by black stockings, gold earrings with small rubies and the signature hat that all the Ten Sages wore.

Personality

A brash and sarcastic young woman, Eight was abrasive, sarcastic, rude, and impatient. If things did not turn in her favor, she would do little more than stomp on the ground in anger, and would often get into arguments with Nine despite often losing to the magician’s sharp wit.

Her grace and manner was polar opposite to Seven’s.

Powers and abilities

As one of the Ten Sages, Eight had massive magical power. Although much of it isn’t shown, it can be assumed that she was nothing short of brilliant with magic because of her high status.

Trivia

• Eight is briefly alluded to in the events of BlazBlue: Chronophantasma in the Six Heroes story, when Hakumen and Jūbei begin discussing the whereabouts of the Event Weapons after the Great Dark War. They mention how they are unable to find the Ice Sword: Yukianesa as a member of the Ten Sages had stole it; referencing the cover up story that Seven had devised.
