Blocking[]
Blocking is the method by which administrators may technically prevent users from editing the BlazBlue Wiki. Blocks are used to prevent damage or disruption. Blocks are sometimes used as a deterrent, to discourage whatever behavior led to the block and encourage a productive editing environment.
Reasons for blocking[]
Accounts and IP addresses may be blocked for violating our policy. It means:
- Personal attacks
- Vandalism
- Gross incivility
- Harassment
- Spamming
- Edit warring or revert warring
- Breaching the multiple users policy
- Persistently violating other policies or guidelines
Durations for blocking[]
User can be blocked for a length of:
- 3 days
- 1 week
- 2 weeks
- 1 month
- 6 months
- 1 year
- infinite
Possible bans[]
The following displays each action that could get you banned, as well as how long the ban will be. When the duration of the block is listed as “1 year or infinite”, it means that the duration of the block depends on the severity of the offense.

| Edits for a badge | Making many (also unnecessary) edits, mainly for a badge and/or better position on the Leaderboard. | 3 days |
| Edit fluffing | Publishing multiple edits to the same page or editing individual sections of a page to boost edit count instead of editing the entire page. | 1 week |
| Edit warring | Repeatedly overriding another person’s contributions to restore your preferred version of the page. Note: you will not get banned for repeatedly reverting vandalism. | 1 week |
| Spamming | Advertising or linking anything that is unrelated to this wiki. | 1 week |
| Wrong file name | Uploading files with wrong file name. | 2 weeks |
| Uploading images without license | All images must have licensing. Nobody wants to have a problem because of one image, even an uploader. | 2 weeks |
| Speculation | User adds information that has not been shown in any official source, information is a hypothesis or the information is a fan-fiction. | 1 month |
| Removing accurate information | Removing any information that was said or shown on any official BlazBlue media or interview. | 1 month |
| Removing messages from message walls | Removing notices from administration. | 1 month |
| Language | Putting in sexually explicit or curse words anywhere – does not apply to the quotes of BlazBlue characters. | 6 months |
| Adding pornographic photos | Putting in any sexually explicit photos. | 1 year |
| Vandalism | Putting in clearly false or biased information into an article, replacing all content of the page with nonsense, deleting content from page. | 1 year or infinite |
| Problem users | Annoying or threatening others, personal attacks, trolling, etc. | 1 year or infinite |
| Multiple accounts | A user that has created and is using another account, for example, to get around the punishment. Only the additional account will be banned. | Infinite |
